INTERN

Our internship programmes are designed for both individuals and groups, who are interested in learning more about an equestrian centre and the management thereof. The internships that we host are for students that are studying at various universities and who must conduct an internship overseas for them to learn a new culture and language, as well as work on their research skills for their courses or for those that are wanting to gain experience in working with horses and running a stable yard.

Various aspects which are covered, but are not limited to, include, understanding the correct way to ride, handling of horses, general horse care, basic yard and equipment knowledge, safety, instruction, schooling, basic veterinary, riding skills both in the wildlife and in an arena, horse behaviour, natural horsemanship, horse trails in combination with a unique nature experience, with an emphasis on conservation, including nature guiding in the natural environment, as well as stable management to name a few.

Even though your internship is your focus, there will still be opportunities for you to experience the African wildlife on game drives, see a bit of the surrounding area on excursions and give a little back, helping with the various outreach work that we do.
