This weekend we held a graded show jumping show at the Wildlife Equestrian Centre, and it was a huge success!
Riders from all over the province came to compete; a wonderful mix of people, all having fun and laughs whilst earning their graded points in their classes.
All our Dutch students competed and all of them did brilliantly; picking up rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places over the 2 days, and we are so proud of both riders and horses.
Javier drove from Polokwane to compete on his beautiful horse, Herrod in the show, arriving a few days earlier to help set up, give lessons and advice to the students, and to liven up the atmosphere here at bushcamp with his Spanish dancing! Everyone learnt so much during the time he spent with us, and many thanks go out to him and we hope he’ll be back soon!
To top it all off; there was an incredible 1.40m power jump to watch and an amusing agility course with the dogs!
It was a fantastic weekend, with amazing weather, smart new sleeves on our new jumps and smiles all round!
