My two and a half month blast in Hoedspruit was absolutely awesome!

I arrived at the airport on the 3rd January and was welcomed by some crazy woman called Traci, and that is where it all began.

My first month was with Glen and Traci. Glen was busy stuffing bush knowledge into my head to get ready for my FGASA Level 1 and Traci throwing horse trails, riding lessons and also trying to fill my head full of “horsey” knowledge. “It was crazy … but awesome”!

My second month I went to do my FGASA theory course with Laetitia at Campfire but I must say that if it wasn’t for Glen and Traci I would never have got through it all. I passed my theory exam with an awesome mark and my practical was excellent. So to Laetitia thank you for sharing all your knowledge with me and thanks for believing in me even though I battled through all my tests except the big one.

Glen and Traci you guys rocked, you got me ready for what was coming my way. You welcomed me with big arms and accepted me into the family and just another thank you to Shannon, Jvv and Charné for letting me be a part of the family. I have had an awesome experience in Hoedspruit and have met more people in those two and a half months then I have had in all my life!

So Hoedspruit is definitely the place to be and African Dream Horse Safari definitely the place to go! It is sad having to say goodbye but we will meet again!
